You love start-up culture and thrive on seeing the direct impact of your work. ​


About your role:
You’ll be joining a small team at the early stages of a company that will have a lasting impact on the way people explore the world and connect with one another. Your role is to talk with people about our new brand, Sojrn and help them pick the best chapter for them. You'll be asked to work hard and sometimes at odd hours but you'll be supported and appreciated. You will also be required to spend a couple of months abroad experiencing various Sojrn chapters.

Duties:

  • Read through all incoming profiles and reach out to potential participants

  • Oversee Sojrn chat and email inboxes, responding promptly to questions and comments

  • Maintain contacts and lead statuses in our CRM system

  • Strategize creative new ways of growing the Sojrn community

  • Assist in the development of strategies for increasing customer retention and organic word of mouth

  • Analyze traveler sales journey and devise strategies for improving UX

  • Help execute events for alums and future participants

  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere on Sojrn chapters, pitching in with odd jobs as needed

  • Contribute to the research, ideation and innovation, design, development, maintenance, enhancement, and communication of changes to current product and new product opportunities based on lead/client feedback

  • Extensive international travel required

You have:

  • 3+ years consumer sales experience, with a history of meeting sales quotas

  • 1+ years B2C start-up experience

  • Exceptional work ethic, strong integrity, and an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attitude of a team player with strong interpersonal skills

  • Enthusiasm, grit, social intelligence, and a sense of humor

  • A profound love of travel and the flexibility for extensive international travel as needed

  • $35k base + commission + free housing while on Sojrn Chapters
