About you:

You’re an independent go-getter with a hawk eye for details and a speedy response time. You’re happy to pitch in wherever needed and are comfortable with taking on new projects. You’re comfortable communicating with people from all over the world and happy to respond to emails at odd hours to accommodate different time zones.


About your role:

The Operations Coordinator role is a remote, part-time position (20 hours/wk, $22/hr) with the opportunity to come on full-time. We are currently looking to fill two Ops Coordinator roles to cover EST and CET standard hours.
 
You’ll be joining a small team at the early stages of a company that will have a lasting impact on the way people explore the world and connect with one another. Your role is to support the operations team in preparing for each chapter by interfacing with both travelers and suppliers. We are a remote working team, so this is a remote position. Ideally located in US or European time zones.

Duties:

  • Research new destinations, restaurants, hotels, and experiences

  • Assist in confirming bookings and managing reservations

  • Create pre-trip material

  • Respond to client inquiries and pre-trip questions

  • Provide overseas suppliers with necessary information

  • Maintain trip calendars

  • Assist trip leaders and clients while overseas

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Research and implement ideas to improve the quality of our trips.

You have:

  • Must be entrepreneurial-minded with strong problem solving skills

  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized

  • Must be an excellent communicator via email and phone

  • Must love travel and believe in the Sorjn mission

  • Must be comfortable with spreadsheets
