During the Art & Architecture in Barcelona chapter, you'll spend four weeks living, working, connecting with others, and experiencing Spanish culture, while learning about the region's past and future through the local art. Plus, there is all of Spain (and Europe!) to explore on your weekends.

We've got wifi and more.

The Art & architecture in Barcelona Chapter includes access to a co-working space which offers fast wifi and is centrally located so there is plenty to do once you've wrapped your work day. 

Should your work requirements find you needing more, your local host can help you get what you need to work easily and effectively, whether that is meeting rooms, printers, etc.

Plus, we've found great local cafes and restaurants to use as Sojrn Spaces - places you're always welcome to pop into for a chat, to get some work done, or grab a bite to eat with other Chapter members. 

Your Barcelona home.

  • Standard - $3,999   |   A private room in a shared apartment in the center of Barcelona. Rooms are furnished, with Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and space to work. 

  • Private - $5,399   |   A private apartment/studio that comes furnished, equipped with Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and space to work. 

 

PS: If you book private accommodations with someone (shared bed), the second person gets 50% off of their Sojrn.

With Barcelona as your homebase, we've designed a 4-week stay to help you immerse in the culture of Catalonia as you learn about the region's unique Modernist art and Architecture. The month is broken up into four focuses: 

WEEK 1

Barcelona Blueprint

Barcelona is also world-renowned for its urban planning and engineering. This week we will focus on the layout of Barcelona’s architectural blueprint, settle into its narrow streets with some tapas, and familiarize ourselves with the city’s egalitarian nature and identity.

WEEK 2

Exteriors

At the turn of the 20th century, one particular leader of Catalan Modernism was none other than Antoni Gaudí, the revolutionary architect who fused his Catalonian roots with religion, rural artisanship, and feeling. This week we will soak in the magic of Gaudí, learn more about the progressive Catalan Modernism movement, and really focus on the exteriors of Barcelona’s extraordinary architecture.

WEEK 3

Interiors

Interior architecture focuses on functionality for human occupancy, combined with visual artistry - places where the blend of art and science is incorporated to create, restore, and readapt the inside of a space. While Barcelona’s exterior architecture is well-known, its interiors are just as fascinating, not only from an aesthetic perspective, but by experiencing the humanity that breathes life into the city’s vibrant spirit, culture, and traditions.

WEEK 4

Unexpected Places

Catalan Modernism is at the forefront of Barcelona’s vivid climate and is found in the most unexpected places. From gastronomy to street art to fashion, this final week celebrates the legacy of Catalan culture, the pioneers whose imagination changed the global art and architecture scenes forever, and the leaders who continue to transform Barcelona’s identity today. Salut i Força!
