Together, you'll delve into the region's rich ecosystems, engage with local conservationists, and immerse yourselves in the preservation of uniquely beautiful habitats from the Krueger to the coast.

Over meaningful discussions, you'll exchange insights and knowledge. And, through shared experiences, traditional meals, and cultural celebrations, you'll create real friendships.

From the land


Through authentic hands-on outdoor experiences and expert-led activities, you'll explore the rich flora and fauna of the region, and develop a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of ecosystems and the importance of conservation. 

As you hike to towering Table Mountain vistas and past plant species endemic to only the Cape Floral Kingdom, you’ll gain firsthand knowledge of the delicate balance of nature and the factors that shape the region’s diverse ecosystems.

You'll even discover the role of indigenous knowledge and local practices in promoting sustainable living and biodiversity conservation.

Local Host

Your Local Host will ensure you have everything you need in Cape Town to be relaxed, productive, and inspired in your temporary new home. They will also assist you with cross-cultural immersion so that you grow familiar with the language, etiquette, customs, and cultural nuances of South Africa.



Chapter Host

Your Chapter Host knows exactly what to plan to make your evenings and spare time in Cape Town more fun. Knowledgeable in Cape Town’s colorful culture and amazing scenery, they will help organize social events, group dinners, and weekend adventures out of the city.

Our Sojrn Chapters are created to cater to your needs and allow you the most flexibility and control over how you spend your time and money. As such, these items are left for you to arrange at your discretion:

Choose your stay

$5,399 A private one-bedroom apartment that comes furnished with WiFi, a kitchenette, and space to work. If you sign up with another person with the intention of sharing Private Housing, one person should book the Private Housing option, and one person should book the No Housing option.



Work the way you want

If you plan to work while on your Sojrn, you’ll have the opportunity to do so from afar while immersing yourself in the local culture. With a complimentary personal WiFi hotspot, your desk can be anywhere you like, from your own apartment to the charming coffee shop around the corner.

Cape Town Chapter Notes

You should expect a moderate level of physical activity on your Chapter, most of which will be walking and hiking.

While load shedding (government-planned blackouts to conserve energy) will not affect your accommodations, you should pack portable batteries as you may travel to other parts of the city or region that are affected.
